Halloween is right around the corner, and what better way to spice up your spooky night than to add in some spooky cocktails? 

 

That’s why we’ve got 5 Halloween cocktails that will channel your inner basic witch and be the highlight of your Halloween party! Bone Appetite!  

 

Poison Apple Cocktail 

Move out of the way Snow White, cause the Evil Queen is out and ready to play. This Poison Apple Cocktail recipe from The Seaside Baker is sure to wow your guests. Here’s what you do: 

  • Combine 1.5 ounces of Vodka, 3/4 ounces Sour Apple Schnapp Liqueur, and 3/4 ounces Sour Apple Mixer in a cocktail shaker then fill with ice. 
  • Cover and shake for 30 seconds and then pour into a glass 

 

Sanderson Sisters Cocktail  

It’s just a bunch of hocus pocus! That is until you get a look at these mesmerizing Sanderson Sisters Cocktails from Love and Confections. Stir up some bubbly trouble by: 

  • In a cocktail shaker, put ¾ cup of Litehouse Apple Cider, 2-3 ounces of Apple Pie Liqueur, ¼ teaspoon of Wilton Pearl Dust, and 1-2 drops of your food coloring of choice 
  • Shake until chilled and pour into glasses 

 

Blood Orange Sangria 

Vampire lovers, listen up! This Blood Orange Sangria from How Sweet Eats is the answer to your Halloween party woes. The sweet tang of the citrus and the darkness of liqueur is bound to have you slurping up every last drop! Here’s how you can make it: 

  • Zest 1 orange and combine it with sugar until it becomes fragrant 
  • Juice 4 more blood oranges (discarding pits and seeds) and chop 2 more blood oranges into quarters 
  • In a large pitcher, combine 2 bottles of pinot grigio, the blood orange juice you squeezed, 1 cup of club soda, 1 apple (chopped), 12 ounces of strawberries (sliced), 1 pint of raspberries, and quartered blood orange pieces. Stir well. 
  • Put the sugar and orange mixture from step 1 on a plate and run a slice of blood orange around the rim of each of your glasses. Then coat the rims with sugar. 
  • Fill each glass with a few ice cubes, pour in the sangria, and serve! 

     

    Black Widow Venom Moonshine 

    Ready for a kick-butt recipe sure to scare away the men? Then you need this Black Widow Venom Moonshine from Crayons and Cravings. Here are the steps: 

    • Make a simple syrup by stirring in ½ a cup of water and ½ a cup of granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the syrup forms. Take it off the heat and let it cool. 
    • Put 4 cups of sliced strawberries into a bowl and use a wooden spoon to mash the strawberries just a tiny bit. Then divide the strawberries into mason jars. 
    • Divide the simple syrup, 40 hot tamales (10 per jar), 4 cups of Everclear (1 cup per jar), and 1 drop of red food coloring to each jar. Shake each jar to combine the ingredients. 
    • Let the jars sit for 24 hours up to a week in a cool location to infuse the drink (shake every 2 days if you’re infusing them for a week) 
    • When you’re ready, strain the jar contents through a cheesecloth to remove the strawberry pieces. Pour the liquid back into the jars and let them chill in the refrigerator. Serve and enjoy! 

     

    Zombtini

    • Combine ice, 1 ounce of Captain Morgan White Rum, 2 ounces of Dekuyper Melon Liqueur, and 1 ounce of 100% Pineapple Juice into a cocktail shaker and shake well. 
    • Pour into martini glass until about ⅔ full 
    • Pour Sprite until it fills the rest of the glass and drizzle in a dash of Grenadine 
    • Served when it’s chilled and enjoy!
